July 30, 1863, young Henry Ford
was born a farmer’s son in a small Michigan rural area. He as a child never
really cared for the farm work, but thoroughly enjoyed mechanics. This led him
to leave his home to the near city of Detroit. In Detroit he would be
apprentice machinist. In 1891, Henry Ford was an engineer. In 2 years he
would Chief Engineer for Edison Illumination Company. Being the Chief Engineer
gave him money and time, with the free time and money he made combustion
engines. With the engine he made the Quadricycle that would eventually
evolve to an Automobile. With his pioneer of automotive would turn this
country in to motorist.
